Soccer came to a close 2 weeks ago, but we have been going strong with basketball for over a month now. I'm not sure my heart can take it, basketball is so much faster paced and physical than what soccer has been. Grace is loving every minute of it though and is really improving.
She doubles as a point guard/forward right now.
She took her first foul and got to shoot at the line. I love how the ref moves them up a foot or two.
She is getting much better at getting around defenders. Check out that guard arm!
The girls practice once a week and play games on Saturdays. However, this weekend they were drawn into the world of 3 on 3 tournaments. They were outmatched in every game, (and possibly picked up a few bad defensive habits) but had a great time playing and improving their skills! Though there are 10 on the team, only 5 played in the tournament.
