Wisc Dells 2

Day 2 in the Dells we spent the morning at Klondike Kavern. Though we had a blast at the Wild Water Dome and Wild West the previous day, Klondike Kavern was our favorite. With lots of family slides, tube slides and body slides, there was plenty to keep us busy.  It also offered a few "bigger slides" that the older girls enjoyed, but were tame enough for Norah to do by herself. We couldn't get up the stairs fast enough for the fun that awaited at this waterpark! We left the park about noon to grab some lunch and bid farewell to Mark's family. Since we were rolling into Thanksgiving break, we were in no hurry to get back home, so we decided to spend the afternoon in WI and drive home at night so we could soak up every minute of our fun vacation.

After lunch we decided since we were dry and already had 2 days of water fun, we would try out some of the "on land" activities. Grace really wanted to try the Skyrope Course. She was so brave (way braver than I would have been) walking around on those narrow little beams and ropes. They navigated the Sky Course with ease.

Once Grace and Mark finished their walk through the clouds we tried 3D Blacklight Mini Golf. Golfing in 3D glasses was a challenge, but the girls loved the blacklight features and all the pirate "booty" that was hiding around the course.

Not to brag, but Norah and I ruled the greens! Mark had us until hole 9 and then a little miscalculation trying to launch his ball cost him a good 6 strokes. Norah was a pro!

Norah's favorite was definitely the Lazer Maze. She and Mark had to work their way over, under, and around the lazers to hit sensors on the wall. They made it through only breaking ONE lazer! It definitely pays to be tiny in there, Norah didn't break any! Grace did the maze by herself and did awesome, and Emma and I did it together and made the top 10 fastest duo to cover the novice course!

Afterwards we decided we really liked Lazers so we played a game of Lazer Tag. Technically you have to be 5 to play, but since there wasn't anyone else waiting, we got the whole place to ourselves and got to play as a family. Norah was super excited (so was I, I didn't want to miss out either) that they let her enter. Mark pummeled us all with his sharp-shooter skills. You can tell from the picture who needs to work on her aim! :) Emma was sad by her results, but had a blast playing!

All-in-all it was another great family weekend away!
