Crock pot chicken

The girls love Rotisserie chicken. (If only they made 3 legged chickens because all three of them love the legs). However, no rotisserie in our abode, so I had to find the next best thing. This recipe is a must-serve. It is cheap, healthy, filling, and best of all...cooks itself! Just grab a full chicken, wash it, add some salt and pepper into the cavity, put a few tbsp of butter on top, some celery, and a few dashes of basil, onion salt, and garlic powder. Let it cook for 8-10 hrs and you return home to a fabulous smelling kitchen and dinner waiting. We served it with Ramen noodles...just to keep it classy. :)
