Christmas Eve

We spend Christmas eve each year at my parents house. We eat too much food, drink too much wine, open too many gifts. It's all about relaxation and fun. The girls love time with their cousins, I love time with my sisters and mom, Mark loves having guy-time...a pleasant change since he's always surrounded by girls. After a relaxing morning of playing at home, it's a great reason to get our of our PJ's for a change of pace.
After a yummy Italian dinner, the girls gathered around grandma for the reading of the scavenger hunt. They all set off to find the Christmas pickle.

Grandma surprised the girls with personalized backpacks for their activities full of all sorts of goodies. As usual, there were far too many gifts and goodies.

After opening all of the gifts for the little ones, the adults played the Saran Wrap Ball game. I was too busy participating to take photos, but it was a fun little game that I could see become a tradition at our house. After all the gifts, it was time for games. We once again played cards until the wee hours of the morning, soaking up time with family.
