Blue eyes

Will,

Last night I dreamed about you. It was such a vivid and beautiful dream that when I woke up it took me a few minutes to separate fantasy from reality. You were in the front driveway, playing basketball with your dad. You were about 8 years old, and as you dribbled back to the three-point line - as if in slow motion - you looked up at me and I saw your piercing blue eyes. Time stood still. They looked just like your daddy's. So big and blue that every time you look into them you feel like you can see a bit of his beautiful soul. Your soul seemed to mimic his. Your eyes were so kind, carried a curiosity with them, and looked hungry to take in the world around them. I tried so hard to see more and remember more of what you looked like, but your eyes were all I could see. I have only a few dreams I remember, but your eyes are like a snapshot in my mind to me now. I can't wait to see if my dreams match my reality the day we finally get to meet you. Praying we'll get to see those precious peepers of yours, but not too soon. :)
