I can't believe it is November. This weather is amazing and I'm so glad it hung around long enough for Will and I to get out of the house and really enjoy it. Given that the leaves have overtaken our backyard, they were just calling our names to pile them up and have a little jump-off. There is nothing quite like disguising manual labor into a whole lot of fun!
The girls did a great job putting a little muscle behind their rakes so the 'work' portion of our fun went quickly. Though there were tons of leaves, it was a good thing considering the girls didn't hold back on jumping into their pile. I thought we would have some broken bones for sure as hard as the jumped. Grace definitely went for speed.
Norah jumped for style, changing her jump up each time. Her legwork was a 10. Flawless.
Emma jumped for leaf distribution. If there was a prize for cannon-balling leaves, she would win. Hazel preferred this jumping style as it definitely showered more leaves her way!
Will preferred the -get me out of these leaves- style. Sorry, buddy. Just one picture.
Of course, we picked up our mess when we were finished playing. So thankful that the girls can always find the fun behind a little work.
