Grace was selected for honor band again this year, but this time she had the opportunity to represent Regis at the Vernon Middle School honor band. She was the only 6th grader from her school so she was afraid it would be a bit of a lonely day for her. Luckily, she said some really nice girls invited her to eat lunch with them and though I was nervous for her to be by herself for such a long day (8am to 5pm) I was so proud of her for stepping outside of her comfort zone!
She spent weeks practicing her music to prepare for the day and the concert at the end of it was pretty impressive. You can't really see her, but she is in the second row, fifth one in.
Exhausted after a long day.
