We had to wake up extra early to celebrate Mark this year as he had to be on the road by 4am for work. He got to open a quick present before he took off but we figured we would surprise him when he got home with his favorite dinner, birthday cake and the rest of his presents. Unfortunately, his rib dinner had to be reheated as he didn't get home until almost 8pm. Bummer. The girls still got to sneak in a little cake with the birthday boy before they had to head to bed!
Another year around the sun with this guy is definitely something to celebrate as he lights up our world. His birthday cake is getting brighter and brighter as well! :) Happy 38th!
