Showchoir

Showchoir season seemed to end almost as quickly as it began. After far too many 7am practices, I'm sure Grace is ready to sleep in again and get back to her normal routine, but she really enjoyed trying showchoir this year. As a "showchoir mom" it was interesting to learn the ins and outs of what goes into these productions and the craziness that it involved. I'm not sure I'm cut out for the showchoir mom title, so it was fun to be able to voluteer this year when it's a little less serious, because it's definitely not where my strengths lie.

First real competition: The Marion Masquerade
Dream On, ShowPeople, and Burn made up her show this year. She absolutely fell in love with the stage and it was fun to watch her confidence build as the season progressed. I also really love that her activities interests are all over the place between fine arts and athletics so she has met a lot of friends from other schools that I'm not sure she would have met otherwise.

Check out that intensity...but, where's the smile?
