Pier 14 and Sharks!

After dinner we walked out on Pier 14 and watched them fish. We couldn’t believe all of the sharks they were catching! It made me really second guess swimming out so deep in the ocean as they weren’t fishing very far off of shore and they were catching a bunch of them. One of the guys let us hold one before he threw it back. It was a little nerve wracking, but the girls got a kick out of touching a real-in-the-ocean shark!

The view from the pier was amazing...

However, I much prefer the skyline where we are located without all the tourist attractions.

The girls loved being able to hold a shark.

Just a baby...for now. Hopefully we never meet him again.

We could have spent hours on the pier watching them fish.

After the pier, we stopped off for a little ice cream and then took a walk on the beach so the girls could see the coast all lit up at night. It was such a beautiful night for a walk and it was so fun watching them race up and down the beach chasing each other.
