Union Station

From City Museum we checked in to our hotel and headed to Union Station for dinner. We were going to stay at the hotel at Union Station, but the girls were looking forward to swimming and with an outdoor pool and all of the rain today, we were nervous they wouldn’t be able to swim. Turns out…it was a beautiful night in St. Louis. We caught the light show at the hotel first and marveled at the beauty of the lobby. The last time we were at Union Station it was still being renovated so it was great to be able to see the lobby all finished. The light show was great and though short (only about 5 minutes) it was worth the trip over, just to watch it. We headed outside to the atrium and fed the fish and enjoyed a cool night without rain. We had a little dinner and then headed back to the hotel to swim.

Feeding the fish at Union Station is always a favorite!

I think our next trip to St. Louis will definitely include a hotel stay at Union Station...so beautiful.

The beautiful hotel lobby after the renovations.

The girls loved the light show.

We cheated again and ate at a chain, but they remembered how much they liked Hard Rock Cafe last time we ate there so we went again. Norah loved her guitar plate...rocking out on her air guitar!
